The cost of HIV drugs and treatments are sky high, so, it makes sense for the military to not allow them to enlist. But, if this suit succeeds then the military will have to allow diabetics to enlist, let asthmatics to enlist, along with every other medical condition that is used to weed out recruits that will cost the military a lot of money to treat. The real reason these folks want to enlist is so that they get their meds and treatments for free.
