A great way to start the day! I read Psalms regularly in the mornings but not always Proverbs. Maybe I should take up always reading some Proverbs, as I can certainly use their wisdom and admonishment myself!

Don't make my mistake of just jumping in like I have done in the past. That gives a meagre blessing. But ask the Lord for the Spirit's guidance and enlightenment.
If we encounter an enigmatic line from the Psalms we've got the very available and outstanding online commentary from Charles Spurgeon, The Treasury of David.

With regard to Proverbs I have begun to use a downloaded Kindle commentary by Charles Bridges. Both Spurgeon and Bridges are writers from the 19th Century so they're a bit more reverent in style and thought.

Also I glean far more when I have the Scriptures read to me.
