How about saying anything positive? DeSantis did endorse that Colorado very vocal neverTrump clown, that didn't quite work out. Again though, how about the positive? Isn't that the whole point of team work?
Good grief. I've heard DeSantis, Youngkin, Winsome Sears (who has now declared she's 'done with Trump') and numerous, numerous other conservatives say wonderfully positive things about Trump since 2015-2016.
Trunp/DeSantis 2024 - 12 years to fix the government.
Trump needs to derail this before it gets out of hand.
All he has to do is avoid giving the left fuel and talking points by not making any negative comments about DeSantis.
If he would really like to show some statesmanship he should reach out in a positive way to DeSantis.
If Trump adds fuel to the fire he started he will hurt himself more than he will hurt DeSantis - especially among Florida conservatives.
If they thought DeSantis’ policies were going to be like Trump’s they wouldn’t be backing him. It’s only Logical. The republican party establishment doesn’t care if they win all they care about is getting rid of Trump because he doesn’t ascribe to their, very scary I might add, globalist agenda. One can only assume that DeSantis does.
the never desantis group wants desantis to come out with a statement ‘i will not run for the president in 2024 today’ every other day. for the next two years.
i will of course support whoever wins the nomination, at this point, seems like it will be trump as no one else good is saying that they’re running.
the worst case scenario is if indeed two of the popular choices are running, the second place person gets mad and go independent.
Right now I’m neutral between Trump and DeSantis, may the best man win. But DeSantis would be a fool to commit to anything right now.
i totally agree with you, the election ink isn’t dry yet.
“i can’t commit to 2024 right now, as i’m focusing on state of florida as the people of florida voted me for’
perfect answer.
It’s pretty obvious that the press is trying to play this up for their own purposes.
I support Trump, DeSantis, and Paul, though not necessarily in that order.
