PHOENIX — Maricopa County officials revised a prediction that most ballots would be counted by Friday, saying a day before that deadline that widespread counting would continue into the weekend.
County Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Gates said Thursday during a press conference that the original forecast of 95% to 99% of votes being counted by Friday wouldn’t happen due to the high total of ballots dropped off on Election Day.
“I’m here to tell you the goalposts have changed,” Gates said.

I’m not worried about the counting process. I am worried that a lot of McCain Republicans - and there are a lot of them still in Maricopa - have voted for the Democrat to block anyone associated with Trump. Those would be legal votes. Valid votes. But votes by McCain Republicans, genuine GOP votes, against Kari and even more so against Blake because of their emotional hatred for Trump.
That is worrying me a lot. The counting? Not at all.
You can use boldface, but you don’t know squat about the process. There is no way to verify and count all the mail-in ballots quickly - and verification is a huge part of PREVENTING FRAUD!
It is taking a long time in part because of the anti-fraud measures the GOP legislature has passed.
I’m not saying there is no fraud, but not in the counting process. The problem is Arizona votes almost entirely by mail-in ballots - and at least half of the votes ON ELECTION DAY are “mail-in” ballots.
(The other governor who resisted the panic, South Dakota’s Kristi Noem, won with an even bigger margin: 26.8 points with 97% of the vote counted.)

While I like Desantis, Noem was the ONLY governor allowing South Dakota’s citizens to be truly free from the covid plandemic. There were zero closings of any business or church in the entire state.
This is why I moved to South Dakota. Freedom!

I was so excited to give the election official my ID for proving I am who I say I am.
In my lifetime, I’ve voted in California, Massachusetts and NY where they would laugh when one would show their ID. “We don’t need no stinkin ID!!”
While the US is almost toast, I still have a piece of the USA in SOUTH DAKOTA.
This vote counting could take awhile. Thanksgiving is coming up. Then there’s all that shopping ahead of Christmas. And the decorations need to be put up. Wonder if they have enough time to wrap up the count by year-end?
There are mostly two reason to stall.
The dimwits are trying to change the outcome by cheating.
OR,they know the outcome..pubs have both .. and they are trying to delay the pubs taking over.

Dems are still printing ballots and generating votes for their candidates.

This is embarrassing. Good grief! How the rest of the world must be belly laughing at our great democratic elections.
We can send a probe to Mars but cannot seem to count ballots in a timely manner with today’s technology.
If we take back all houses of government in 2024, laws must be passed making election day, election DAY. Mandatory ten years in prison for any sort of perversion in the vote tabulation.

Laxalt said on Tucker that they have lawyers and observers on the ground. He didn’t seem worried. The GOP also discovered 6000 ballots in Douglas County, a Republican stronghold, that hadn’t been reported yet, so Nevada is looking pretty good at the moment. Now to await the Election Day early ballots in AZ that should start being tabulated today.

It seems that Hobbs is only releasing results at a trickle starting with precincts that are favorable to Democrats. That explains why Hobbs is up 27,000 votes. The remaining 500,000 votes include ~300,000 early ballots that were dropped off on Election Day, including mine. They anticipate that those will be highly favorable to Kari, between 60-70%, which will swing the race to Kari.
In their opinion, Hobb’s office is deliberately slow walking the results in order to cast doubt on Kari’s campaign. They did that during the primary when it took them 5 days to announce her win, so they’re perfectly capable of it. We had major issues in my county, Pinal, when several polling places ran out of ballots at 9 am and the SOS’s office didn’t bring additional ballots until 5:30 pm. Voters were furious!
Now we just have to hope that Kari can bring Masters and Finchem over the finish line with her. Abe is only down 16,000 so he will be fine.
Admittedly, I’ve expended little time looking at AZ.
Is there any evidence that MC officials have been suppressing oversight by independent or republican pollworkers?

You don’t win PA as a Republican with a weak candidate, and OZ was a pathetically bad candidate... when the whole argument is “at lest he’s not the other guy” you don’t win as an R statewide in PA.

HOpefullly that information is accurate.
I am hard pressed to see how Hobbs could even have a prayer and winning without fraud, but I’m not on the ground in AZ, so I am more than willing to hear from folks who know the state better than I do and are on the ground, as my perception is colored by what limited information I get to see from the various biased and limited narratives (from both sides) that make it out to the rest of the country.
