This country needs Trump to survive.

DeSantis is great, but we don't yet know how he will perform when attacked with the full force of the Left on a national stage.

No, and that is one reason why I would want to see him serve out his second term as governor. Also, that will give him time to assemble an even stronger team that he can take with him to DC.

That was in my opinion the big difference between Reagan and Trump. Reagan, despite being called an outsider, had served as governor in CA and had a team ready to descend on Washington once he was elected. Trump on the other hand was a real outsider, and whereas he had contacts in the economic (and trade) sphere, who served him excellently during his tenure, he did not have a team ready to handle for instance the DOJ. That hurt him, the GOP, and the US. Think for instance if Rudy Giuliani had been eight years younger, and had accepted to serve as Attorney General. He would have chewed up HRC and her fake dossier in a few months. What a difference that would have made.
