I witnessed a similar event first hand in 2018 FL govenor race. The poll worker (older fat wht female) stopped all vote tallying. Then made us stand in line for 30 mins while she pulled the ballot box out, which was 3/4 full, to count votes. I was near the front of the line and had good view of her counting 5 ballots down, opening the 5th, viewing the ballot, then going 5 more down and repeating the process until all ballots in the box were sampled. I told the guy in front of me “she’s sampling”. He said nothing. I wrote out an online complaint to the agency for reporting vote irregularities. Never heard back.
What sampling allows them is to estimate the tally for the box which tells them to keep or throw out the box and substitute it with a fake box with pre-filled ballots with a majority for ‘their guy’. So if it’s close a manual re-count will go their way. Desantis fixed it. Now a Dem pollster is complaining about ‘democrat politicians will go extinct’ in FL. Fraudsters.
