The White House is expected to soon release a transcript of a 2004 interview that former President George W. Bush and former Vice President Dick Cheney gave to the bipartisan commission investigating the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, a person with knowledge of the matter told The Wall Street Journal.
According to a copy of the 31-page document reviewed by the Journal, the April 2004 interview took place in the Oval Office and included discussion of intelligence warnings prior to the attacks and the events of the day.

I was never a supporter of George Bush and Cheney. Their job was to protect the USA on 9-11 and they failed us. No one was ever held accountable and surprise!just like all such events where those that fail are promoted. Just like Afghanistan pull our and fraudulent attack on Iraq. The first rule of thumb with a deep state is never hold accountable those in government that screw up, because then they will not go whistleblower rogue and and expose failures on top.
Hey...be fair. It's not as if there was a Presidential Daily Briefing in which Bush was told of a threat from Bin Laden to hijack aircraft, and which mentions airports, the WTC and "New York buildings".

I see references to targeting LAX and Washington but nothing about “New York Buildings.” . The reference to the WTC is about the earlier attack in 1993, as an example of taking the fight to the enemy. Nice try though.
