I am thinking if Mcconnell is not chosen as majority leader, he resigns. (After all he’s in his late 70s. His time is near!)
What’s the Kentucky state constitution say about a senatorial opening? Isn’t the Kentucky governor a Rat? I would hate to see a Hobson’s Choice of McConnell majority leader or lose control of the Senate!
KY governorship is up for election in 1 year. Rats stole it in 2017. Barring another theft GOP would win it in a year. Many think Mitch would resign once GOP governor can appoint his successor, but not until then.
