For the sake of his talent and his impact on literature, I still study him. G-d is not through with Kanye, but that doesn’t excuse his goofballiness.
If he’s saying that those “wealthy Jews” are all conspiring together to take over the world, force everyone to drink Manischewitz wine and bring back bell bottoms, it would be anti-Semitic. Since he’s saying that “wealthy Jews” have “too much power,” he is saying something considerably more than that there are wealthy Jews who have acquired lots of power, and I suspect he’s implying the former, though not saying it outright. A simple statement of fact is, lots of powerful people are both wealthy and happen to be Jewish.
George Soros is the only one I’m worried about, but I’d be just as worried if he were black or Polish, because he’s up to no good. Steven Spielberg is both Jewish and wealthy, but he just makes lots of movies with kids having big adventures, and a few Holocaust films, both of which he’s great at. Nothing sinister there. The first is what made him get wealthy, and the second is what he did with that wealth.
Why do we care what Kanye says or Candice says about what he says for that matter?
Why would he think Jews having power is bad?
This controversy is about use of language that “leads to” something sinister. If stating an opinion that may or may not be factual; it doesn’t matter. If the “leads to” argument works, the speaker is canceled. If it’s about Jews it “leads to” the holocaust. About blacks “leads to” lynchings. But about J6 participation, that doesn’t lead to political imprisonment. Those speakers aren’t canceled. What is the criteria for “leads to” getting you canceled? Does depression lead to school shootings? We can’t talk about depression?
Duh...ya think? And more disturbingly, Ye — and Kyrie Irving — echo the extreme anti-white, anti-Christian, Jew-hating lies of the fraudulent “Black Israelite” movement. I do not understand the allure of this filth to so many culturally-successful blacks.

i guess what i am trying to get at is he did not say that all jews were “bad” by your definition in too much or that all rich jews were bad, only those with too much power...
