GOP U.S. Senate candidate Tiffany Smiley is getting just 25.56% of the vote in King County. She needs at least 30% to have any chance to win state wide. 440,000 King County votes have been counted. There are 1.38 million King County registered voters - so, probably 500,000 to 600,000 more votes to count. King County stops counting votes around 9 PM on election night. If the election is close, they will keep counting, for weeks into the future!

Finding them in the trunks of cars if necessary.
I saw one post on Twitter where the person was complaining about inflation, crime, etc. “Me and my four kids just got back from voting. Democrats right down the ballot! Go Murray!!!”
I’m beginning to wonder why we even participate in elections anymore, having become like China with predetermined results.
Same here.
Liberal Americans have no sense of self preservation. Let them die in their own feces.
Another nail in America’s coffin.
The Seattle-Tacoma conurbation turns the state blue, Its like Denver-Boulder here.
As long as Democrats retain a hammerlock on the big cities, they wukk continue to win elections.
I am wondering if that will come later.
Smiley was a long-shot, but this should position her well to take on AG Ferguson when Inslee is up for reelection.
You should not give up hope until all the votes are actually counted.
The authorities are projecting that the voter turnout in Washington this year will be far lower than 2020 and substantially lower than in 2018.
Every vote in Washington is either mailed in or left at an unattended drop box location. Which makes fraud inevitable here. However, most people I know including my wife and I have waited until the last couple of days to turn in our votes to hopefully make it more difficult for the Democrats to cheat. When I got a call two weeks ago from a Republican volunteer reminding us to vote, she confirmed that many people had told her they were not sending or dropping off their ballots until the last day or two for the same reason.
The race was declared a victory for Murray last night with supposedly 57% of the vote in. This is reported as 980,199 for Murray and 738,618 for Smiley. This is a total of 1,718,817 votes. This means that the authorities are expecting approximately an additional 1,270,000 votes to still be counted. Smiley has a 241,581 vote deficit to make up. This sounded bad, but If she gets just 60% of the 1,270,000 votes still to be counted that comes up to 254,000 votes over 12,000 more votes than she needs. If there are more voted outstanding than expected Tiffany Smiley could win by a much larger margin.
The outstanding votes are from people who waited until the last days to vote and also people from rural counties that tend to be around 75% Republican. The Democrats tend to vote early and often. Tiffany Smiley has been counted out before she should have been. There is a very good chance that this could still go her way. This same type of scenario could easily play out in other races across the country as well.
I watched Kari Lake make a speech this evening... she is not giving up because of the same type of situation in Arizona. The late arriving and counted ballots break decisively for Republicans. I was once a champion athlete. The reason that I won so many races during my years of competition is largely because I never gave up until the race was actually over.
