Voted around 8:30 am this morning - small district in NJ - seemed busy for a midterm election.
South mid-Michigan rural and mostly republican area. Very heavy turnout, 45 minute line to vote.

We voted early Cedar Park TX, the first day of early voting. LONG LINE !!!! Hoping that is a good thing!
We voted today a little after noon in a red county in a red state. Biggest crowd I have every seen at our little polling station. The parking lot was packed.
Even so, the election workers were the same ones who have worked there for years, the process went smoothly, and we were in and out in 15 minutes. Five of those minutes were discussing the grandchildren who a poll-worker informed me had been in earlier with my son and d-i-l. She said, “They are so well-behaved”. That makes a grandma smile.
All voting machines were working, people were voting quickly and I heard no complaints. (Although there was a few mumbles and grumbles about “been waiting two years for this day”.
