What if you were already eating the cheap stuff?
We really do need a French style revolution, as long as there's no Napoleon stepping in afterward.

I've got pantries full of the stuff, as well as canned soups, chilis, Ramon Noodles, spam, canned meats, hundreds of powdered eggs, milk and butter, etc, etc. And plastic bins filled with beans and rice, along with large containers of canned peppers, jars of spices, etc. I don't consume it very often, but when I do, it's reasonably edible.
I'm not just putting food back for myself, but for my teenaged henchmen as well. Gotta feed the troops!
Another strategy I've adopted is simply cutting quantity of food in half - sometimes making a meal of "a half of a half".
Oh, and refilling empty Gatorade bottles with cold water (from my Berkey filter), and shaking in small quantities of fruit flavors or separately-purchased electrolyte powder - a fairly satisfying drink for pennies on the dollars.
I'm not in a position that I really have to lead a frugal life, but it gives me joy, because it reminds me how much Biden voters - who I imagine to be conspicuous consumers - are suffering. Their suffering is my joy!

Close, I actually rather like spaghetti omelets.
Use a bolognese style sauce on whatever the night before.
Use a pan that lets you begin making an omelet wider and thinner, almost crepe-ish compared to the normal thickness you would pour it.
Mix the sauce and noodles before you add them as its less volume to encapsulate compared to adding them separately.
When the eggs are ready put down a layer of appropriate cheese. Add your noodles and sauce and close it up.
It works really well with thicker style chili and some elbows with a bit of sour cream.

Anything that makes a turd will keep you going. Even if it tastes like one.

I remember one time that we accidentally let the pancake batter jugs FREEZE overnight.
Luckily on that trip we were staying in a large lean-to cabin that had a small woodstove - so we were able to defrost them!

He is truly WICKED.

Bad plan. Keep as much of your supplies on the hoof as long as you can.

That Boyardee pizza was a common dorm food when I was in college-my boyfriend was a cop and would always ask me to have one of those ready for him when he got off duty if he was working 2nd shift-3pm to 11pm-it was one of the better tasting dorm food choices...

How about cat food? That’s cheap. Dog food is even cheaper.
How about it Bologna? You in for some dog food you putz.

That is processed crap with lots of empty carbs and no nutritional value-it is cheaper to buy real, fresh meat and veggies and cook them yourself-the stupid democrat is advising people to eat unhealthy food-that stuff is only good as part of my prepper emergency supplies...
