Not necessarily. When I got the flu shot, the manufacturer & brand were listed on the paperwork. When I looked up the information, I found my flu shot was still made from inactivated flu virus.

I had exact same reaction after second shot, and therefore, did not get either booster.

That said, I will probably go for the flu shot, which from experience had no effect on me in the past couple years.

I hate to do this to you, but my wife said she will not ever get another flu shot for fear they will swap it with the Covid "vaccine" surreptitiously.

The occurrence of seasonal flu cases went down as the Covid-19 cases went up.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently reported that it had logged 1,316 positive flu cases in its surveillance network between September 2020 and the end of January 2021. During that same period last year, the CDC had recorded nearly 130,000 cases.
