The state governments who administer these useless online unemployment benefit programs don’t care if they’re broken and don’t get fixed. Bottom line is it’s not their money.
Then they blame the losses on fraudulent applications.
The one in Florida has been an unmitigated disaster since 2014 when it was first designed and built and purchased for millions of dollars from offshore programmers, who hadn’t the slightest clue how to write the instruction manual that should have come with it but didn’t.
So no one in Tallahassee knew how to fix the program whenever it went off the rails.
Add to that ongoing background scenario more federal giveaways in the form of loosening the requirements for qualifying for benefits, and you get massive fraud and theft.
A perfect storm.
