The article showed how stupid the polls were—and how they could only reach certain people under certain circumstances.
They are dangerous in many different ways—often representing in kind contributions to Democratic candidates.
Imho—public disclosure of poll results should be permanently banned for at least six months prior to an election.
Call it “saving democracy” or something else stupid—just do it!
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has been going after the online prediction website Predictit. The CFTC probably doesn’t like individuals placing bets on the outcomes of political events. Can’t have a gauge of public sentiment out there now, can we?
