The plan is to keep Trump from qualifying as a candidate or at the very least, erode his base of support with a long trumped-up investigation/indictment/show trial extending into the 2024 primary season.

Causing voters to shy away from supporting Trump while being entangled in legal jeopardy. Just a thought or two or three. lol
