No, Megan is not a paid troll. In my opinion she is completely wrong on this issue. But she has been a long time member contributing lots of useful opinions and I agree with her on many other issues. She is a rancher and family woman of some type out in Montana, or somewhere like that.
But the debate has become pretty embarrassing and hijacks threads.
McGregor was a very respected Colonel and is not a crackpot. Yep he gets paid by RT. So is/were Dennis Miller, Larry King, Jesse Ventura and many other intersting people.
Yep, it’s a government owned network.
But even a cursory look there shows a diversity of opinion that you don’t find in any of our own media. And shockingly, you can even add comments after news stories. Try that at FOX, CNN, MSNBC, MSN, etc. And many of the comments are pointedly against the story and are not deleted.
Speaking of government ownership of the media, BBC gets a pass. And our recently exposed fascist arrangement between social media and news giants and the DOJ/FBI to silence dissent and suppress stories makes the “RT is government owned” argument ring hollow.
As for McGregor, he’s a good guy with some interesting things to consider. He was discussing a plan Petraeus was pushing of a US force invading Ukraine to go force on force with Russians. Petraeus is making 200k a year minimum from KKR a globalist hedge fund with massive financial interests in the Ukraine ATM for insiders.
Bottom line, Megan was wrong to discount McGregor because he is paid by RT. RT is more balanced than any US network including FOX. You are very incorrect to call her a paid troll.
These “who is the paid troll” games are a waste of time. The fact is most people here came by their opinions honestly in their lives, education and experiences.
We all need to stick to more intelligent arguments than “paid troll”.
