However, NBC offers new details this morning on the police response before the attack — and Paul Pelosi’s curious reaction to it, at least at first. According to their sources, Pelosi himself opened the door when police arrived, and rather than walk out, began to walk back toward assailant David DePape. DePape even assured police that everything was “good,” which — given the broken window — police clearly didn’t believe.
Only then did the hammer attack occur, prompting an immediate response from the surprised officers, according to NBC:

Unless they had a sound detector for breaking glass, the intrusion alarm probably would not sound. The police were responding to a 911 call. Pelousy met them by opening the door. At the point this becomes a bit of enigma, why would he go back in after being rescued by the police. Lastly, who had the hammer? If Pelousy had it without yet having been struck, one would wonder if he is insane. If DD had it, why would he go toward an armed intruder?? No, this whole thing does not make sense beyond the point of when the police got there, 20 minutes after getting a 911 call and stating they did not know it was the Pelousy residence (which is a BS comment at best).
Finally, did he violate his sentence from the Napa collision wherein he was not to use alcohol for a time.
Sounds like a staged event by Nancy Pelosi. She’s the one who left the Capitol unsecured and now she leaves her mansion unsecured. She then weaponizes both “attacks” against her political opponents. It’s long past time to investigate Nancy Pelosi’s involvement in January 6th and now the “attack” on her husband.
The police arrive after receiving a 911 call (in 2 minutes!), see a broken door and politely ring the doorbell and wait for PP to let them in?
Then - Cue the hammer attack?
And who was the alleged young man in the front seat of PP’s car when he got his DUI and was in the wreck.

My current belief is that there was no DePape, no hammer, and no attack.
The entire thing is a fabrication for the Democrat Marxists to propagate another gaslighting lie about conservatives via Media.
It’s possible Pelosi realized DePape was a dangerous nutjob and was playing nice with him — placating him by treating him as a “friend” to keep him from getting violent until the police could get there. It almost worked, but at the last moment DePape decided to attack. The various security screwups with failure to monitor the cameras and stuff is explainable by laziness and incompetence. They’re taking pains now to keep everything under wraps because they know if it goes public it will reveal their screwups. This was a weird situation that’s hard to understand at first blush, and it’s compounded by a lot of CYA in the mix. That’s my read on it at this point anyway. At first I thought it was a gay tryst gone awry but I’m doubting that now.

The air bag on the passenger side had been deployed when the cops got there. Plus there was at least 1 witness to the accident, the driver of the other car who was injured in the crash.
