“as Greta points out, there are no procedures the President must follow to declassify any materials ... which means the Constitutionally granted Plenary Powers of the President didn’t come with instructions/ procedures ... which means all of this huffing & puffing about violation of procedures with respect to declassification simply don’t apply to the President ...

I don't like false modesty, so call me a constitutional scholar.
I've been predicting this outcome for a month now. First, President Trump posted the Standing Order Declassification on Truth Social. That was pretty much case closed right there.
It's not like President Trump had to post that in the first place. If you believe in the Constitution, you know there was no IT workflow for declassifying info in 1776 - the President just declassified by thinking about it. So what are they going to do, charge President Trump with a thought crime??

Don’t give them any ideas . . .

In the Constitution this is no crime that can keep you from running and being President. The founding fathers knew that a crooked party could frame anyone. There are 3 requirements. Anything else is unconstitutional. You have to have a amendment to change it. No congress can pass a law to change it.

Haha, I'm not too worried. I don't think this is going anywhere.
The one concern I had was the Special Master. President Trump originally posted on Truth that he thought FL-based Janus Bates would be the best choice, but I guess Dearie got chosen. Not so sure about him.

Thanks Alan. Would have never figured that out myself.🥱

The Espionage Act charges contemplated in the search warrant don’t rely on the documents being classified.
I think the declassification thing is a red herring.

I wonder what any of the other regular clients of Jeffrey Epstein have to say about this or any other subject?

Dershowitz is looking at this as a legal scholar. Democrat politicos look at it far differently. Anyone think Garland is going to pass on prosecuting Trump, particularly if Trump declares for President?

Why did Fox get rid of her? Never did know the reason for that.

While I agree with your interpretation (lawyer in practice for 34 years here), NEVER underestimate the Dems lust to destroy Trump at all costs.
They WILL indict him and it will get tossed. But they want the talking point that he WAS INDICTED!!!!!!!!!!

She was older and not glamorous looking is probably why Greta waa “not strongly encouraged” to stay, at least not in that prime time slot she wanted.
