IAEA says no sign of 'dirty bomb' work at sites inspected in Ukraine

The U.N. nuclear watchdog said on Thursday it had found no sign of undeclared nuclear activity at three sites in Ukraine that it inspected at Kyiv's request in response to Russian allegations that work was being done on a "dirty bomb".

Moscow has repeatedly accused Ukraine of planning to use such a bomb - a conventional explosive device laced with radioactive material - and said institutes linked to the nuclear industry were involved in preparations, without presenting evidence. Ukraine's government denies the accusation.

Some Ukrainian and Western officials have accused Moscow of making the allegation to give itself cover to detonate its own dirty bomb and pin the blame on Kyiv.

Of course, it was yet another big lie by Comrade Putin and his toadies to try and create a false pretext for the Russians to nuke Ukraine themselves, provided their nukes actually still work.

IAEA makes nice inexpensive "assemble yourself" dirty bombs. Great for starter dictators.

Moscow didn’t seem to mind stationing Russian soldiers at the grounds around Chernobyl. They even had them digging trenches into the radioactive soil.

If there were some sign of it, would they tell?

Same IAEA that has lied about every single “nuclear inspection” for the last 40 years?

You’ve become predictable and ineffective.

You need to just give it up.

We all know who you are working for. We just don’t know how much they are paying you.

Exactly. Buffoonery of the highest level right there. It doesn’t get any more unprofessional for an army than that.

You guys are a real piece of work. So if Russia presents without evidence BS claims of Ukraine about to use a dirty bomb on its own people, that’s fine and dandy. And when the IAEA can’t find any evidence to back this up, well, it’s because Kyiv is really good at covering up its tracks.

In either case, there’s zero evidence backing up the conspiracy, but you’ll just go on believing it and asserting it anyway.

Why use a dirty bomb when a Neutron Bomb would kil; thousands with not much fall out. I’m sure they have some as that type has been around for years.

Good to hear that the system worked. Hopefully the Neocons will keep nuclear crap out of their false flags.
