Has he heard of ice ages followed by global warming?
Those cycle have been happening for Billions of years.
The Great Lakes are a result of ice glaciers melting from last global warming.
More water to drink.
There isn’t a demonstrable NEED to preserve glaciers, much less a demonstrable ABILITY to forestall the natural warming trend.
We (as humans) are just along for the ride.
As I look out over a cliff onto a clear blue body of water, I see no land before the horizon, just one quadrillion gallons of potable water. This cliff and this water comes to us because a glacier melted away tens of thousands of years ago.
Tens of thousands of years is a long time for a human being. But it is not long at all for a 4 billion year old planet. Glaciers form and recede over and over. The landscape we see will be covered with ice at some point, and the result will be a new landscape. Then it will melt away leaving behind a still newer topography. As humans we live on an ever changing planet. Even oceans and continents were different in numbers and sizes. We are here for a blink of an eye. And when the world finally shakes us off. There will be little trace of our existence.

Well look at the wonderful job the third world Neanderthals at UNESCO did stopping the last big Ice Age from melting.

And Al Gore said that parts of New York would be under water by 2016. Yet, it is still there and was able to have Cuomo kill thousands in 2020.
I remember some Hollywood twit filming in the very far north, where there is nothing buy ice and snow. She looked all around and stated ‘I can’t believe this will all be gone in about 10 years.’
I doubt she will ever admit to falling for the insanity.
As some have already mentioned, there are many cycles, most much longer than our short life spans. The cycle of the Sun is paramount in determining weather and climate on Earth. I have reached more than a few liberals by talking about the mile of ice that covers New York and Chicago. I inform them that not very long ago those cities were covered in ice, and will be again. Nothing we can do will stop the coming cold. All we can do is adapt.
I would love to be able to move forward in time, to when the great cold is upon us, and view their Comedy Channel, with the videos of AlGore, AOC, etc all warning us of Globull Warming. Perhaps the academic textbooks and journals of the future really will classify liberalism as a mental disorder in the DSM2000.
