This speculating about Paul’s Pounding Party is going to remain the public’s collective mind for a good while.
If this is fake as in the old October Surprise, I don’t think it’s producing that cresting wave of sympathy for the Devil, I mean, for the Dems as was expected.
It’s mysterious and illogical to the point of being quietly amusing. Dems don’t like being giggled about.

I don’t think it was any planned October surprise. I think it happened. Paul gets into mischief and needs supervision. They then scrambled to put together a quick story with a convenient scapegoat.
