I have this vision of waking up in 8 days to the gleeful talking heads of the mainstream media jubilant at the news that, in a stunning turn of events, the Dems have retained both houses of Congress. The likes of Chuck Todd and Andrea Mitchell will explain to us that the GOP awakened a sleeping giant with its war on abortion rights, and, oh by the way, the vicious assault on Paul Pelosi by an Extreme Ultra Mega MAGA Trump supporter just reminded Americans how much today’s GOP is the enemy of democracy and has thus become anathema to all decent people. Meanwhile, the few brave Repubs who wonder aloud if something is rotten in the state of Denmark will be immediately denounced as deranged conspiracy theories and enemies of the state.

In Wayne County, home of Detroit, officials warned that they wouldn’t be able to get their results in because AT&T no longer provides 3G services. AT&T and other companies had spent years warning about a 3G transition. Even most ordinary AT&T and Verizon customers knew that 3G was being left behind. And yet the officials in charge of Ground Zero for ballot counting in Michigan were somehow unaware and had no plans for moving past an outdated technology.
Can I ask a stupid question? What does old 3G technology have to do with elections? If they are trying to say they are used to uploading files with election results using 3G connections, can’t someone make a phone call and call in results to election central? Can’t they use a fax machine and send in results tallied from each precinct?
Anyone else wonder how it is, that in the days before high technology and computers and the internet, that election results were more promptly reported, than they are now with all of the technology being used????
In 20 Benson instructed the Mi clerks to ignore non matching ballot signatures and they did. Then this year she took a microscope to the petition signatures to get the one Republican who had a near lock to beat Whitmer on the ballot. The rats sabotaged the petitions and she knew it so they got Craig removed from the GOP primary.
Benson is a Soros hack so l don’t have much hope for Mi.
