Paulie sets the phone down without hanging up and exits. To a crazy mostly naked man with a hammer?
Peppie had a hammer in his hand the entire time but never hit Paulie until Paulie walked downstairs to let the police in.
Paulie had no prior wounds until cops yelled drop the hammer.
No background on Peppie except from some con.

I think most voters are seeing crimes happen to friends and neighbors and media and DAs ignored it. Now media and DAs all over this exclusively. Left will lose votes as people don't take kindly to justice for elites but none for you.
