In a nutshell, if it’s a C Corp the corporation itself pays taxes on its income and the employees pay taxes on their salaries/compensation. If it’s an S Corp the owners of the corporation pay taxes on the corporation’s income and the employees pay taxes on their salaries/compensation.

.org is just an internet addressing convention. Nothing to do with tax status.
