Look, it is my belief that the DA and the police officials are completely tied to the Democrat/Pelosi political machine in San Fransisco and California. As such, they are working feverishly to ensure the sanitized version of this incident gets out. It is also my belief that this machine will not only clean up after Paul Pelosi, but they will also intersperse just enough lack of detail and clarity to ensure to make this appear as being a political attack without ever having to specifically say that. It will not be until after November 8th that we will, possibly, get anything straight from these people.

You are absolutely correct. DA Jenkins is a appointee to replace Chesa Boudin. She is up for election and is extremely vulnerable to political pressure ie: No funds for you unless you play along.
SFPD Scott is an effectively affirmative action hire who does not want the job. He tried to get the LAPD position but lost out. He lives in Chatsworth and basically commutes to work from SOCAL on a weekly basis. He will do and say anything TPTB tell him to so as to better his chances to work in SOCAL in another agency.
