San Francisco district attorney Brooke Jenkins on Sunday released some new details, and more importantly corrected some bad information published by various outlets, about the attack on Paul Pelosi.
"At the time that the suspect, Mr. DePape, entered the Pelosi home ... he was in fact looking for Ms. Pelosi. The other thing is we want to make it clear that there were only two people in the home at the time that the police arrived -- Mr. Pelosi and the suspect. There was no third person present," Jenkins said.
San Francisco police chief Bill Scott said responding officers saw suspect David DePape hit Paul Pelosi with a hammer. They tackled and arrested DePape.
"We have nothing to suggest that these two men knew each other prior to this incident," Jenkins said.
"It was a forced entry into the rear door of the home. [DePape] ultimately did make his way upstairs, which is where he ultimately confronted Mr. Pelosi," Jenkins said.
The Associated Press reported DePape carried zip ties with him and asked Mr. Pelosi "where is Nancy?"
Jenkins would not confirm if the intruder had zip ties.

I don’t believe them. They could have trotted out their latest version of events on Saturday, if it were true.

No third person, but someone from inside the house let in the police, whom had said that when they first saw either both were holding on to one hammer. So who, while holding onto a hammer in an at least soon to be violent altercation, used another hand to open a door for the police?

If a third person didn’t open the door for the police then they must have broken down the door. There was no probable cause to do this. The police didn’t see Pelosi and the attacker until they entered.

The Police Chief doesn’t back your theory. He stated, “The responded police knocked on the front door and someone opened the door”.

I don’t think the 911 tape has been released. I can’t find it anywhere. There is a CNN page titled “Hear details from Paul Pelosi’s coded 911 call that led to his rescue” but the call will not load.

Also, who heard the “Where is Nancy” call out. I don’t think they got that from Paul as his skull had been bashed in. He wouldn’t be in a mood to have an interrogation from the cops. But then there is the 911 call. Where is that tape?
