The first articles said someone opened the door and the police saw Pelosi and DuPage in front of them with their hands on the hammer. So right off the bat, we knew there was a 3rd person, whom I personally suspect was a live-in servant who made the phone call.
What probably happened during the phone call was the servant said there’s someone here—i don’t know him—his name is David—he’s a friend [and then he discreetly did not continue on to say of Mr Pelosi’s].
And as soon as Nancy found out, she called someone to make DePage look like a right-wing nutcase.
