Thank you, yes she’s with her daughter now in the city, close to Dr and hospitals. Where she lived an ambulance is 25 minutes away. It took some convincing but she’s a smart woman and knew she needed people around. She has my aunt and 2 grandkids now to look after her. It was sad to see the family farm sold, but on the bright side, real estate prices were so high the money couldn’t be refused.
Perhaps they’ll all get along nicely and she will end up looking after the aunt and 2 grandkids :)
I had a cousin much younger that your Grandma who had a stroke and she needed care for her remaining couple of years. She’d try to talk to us and it was sheer frustration for her, trying to form thoughts and verbalize them.
