There was a third person inside Paul Pelosi’s house on Friday when he was attacked by suspect David DePape according to a report by NBC News.
NBC investigative correspondent Tom Winter confirmed Sunday morning on Meet the Press that there was a third person inside the home that opened the door for police.
San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott indicated there was a third person during a press conference on Friday evening, when he recounted details of what occurred when police arrived on the scene.
“When the officers arrived and knocked on the front door of the residence this morning the door was opened by someone inside and the officers observed through the open door, Mr. Pelosi and the suspect Mr. DePape inside the entryway of the home,” Scott said.
He said the police officers on the scene remained outside the home and spotted Pelosi and DePape inside the entryway, each struggling over a hammer.
When officers ordered the pair to drop the hammer, Scott said, DePape allegedly pulled the hammer away from Pelosi and struck him on the head.
He said that Pelosi was “struck at least once” before officers tackled DePape to the ground.

The above is very sloppy writing by Breitbart. The Police Chief did not say there was a ‘third person’. As noted below, the Police Chief said: “the door was opened by someone inside”.

If police found Pelosi and Depape fighting over the hammer, wouldn't that have made it impossible that either of them opened the door for the police before the police found them fighting over the hammer?
I read where the Cap police were setting up stations around the nation to facilitate faster reaction times.

The police chief did not say it was opened by ‘another person’.
He said: “door was opened by someone inside”.

Bingo.... the police chief would appear to have left it ambiguous, likely deliberately. That way, if more information comes out that overwhelmingly indicates that there was a third person (or even more), they can point back to the statement and say it was correct. If on the other hand no such information comes out like that, they can always go back to the statement and say it meant that there were just two people... since one could potentially read that into the statement too. Technically, Pelosi and Dave could have been in the entranceway but if Pelosi at least had a hand free, he could have opened the door. That might make sense on one level...if it is true that he called the police and was trying to tip them off that he was in some form of danger using the ‘code language’ that the police chief suggested, then chances are that he would want to have been down at the entranceway to let the police in when they showed up.
From what I’ve seen, the police have only made two formal statements about this event (in front of reporters etc.) Is that all the formal statements that the police have made? Is there a Freeper that can confirm?
I know this sounds nuts to some people, but my widowed MIL has been living by herself for 6 years, and she’s 94. Being 80 means nothing. I’m not saying that Paul Pelosi doesn’t have a caregiver, but I am suggesting that the age does not mean he needs to have one. Some people are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves. My MIL does have caregivers visit her during the day, but she’s not at the point where she needs someone staying overnight. She would definitely view it as an intrusion into her privacy. She does have a security system, which is armed in the evening or when she is out with her friends.

I was not there so I do not know how many feet or inches either Pelosi or Depape were from the door handle when police were knocking at the front door. When the door opened the police saw the two struggling in the entry way. Was observed struggle in the entry way one or two feet from the door??????
As I have written elsewhere, it seems to me the media and police are intentionally creating misinformation because they are trying to coverup something.

Police say on the record that Paul Pelosi and his suspected attacker did not know each other prior to the attack.

In another post, I asked if the police chief has given more than 2 formal statements (in front of reporters). I’ve only seen 2 and neither of them said that Pelosi and Dave didn’t know each other. He did say that it was an ‘intentional attack’ from which various things might be inferred as to the relationship but that too is open to interpretation.
My Gradma is nearly 102 (Feb), we just moved her in August off of her 175 acre farm where she has lived alone since Grandpa died in 1984. She was mowing 3 acres of grass on her little Cub Cadet up to when we moved her to my Aunts home. She just started to lose a little mental acuity and had a small fall so she finally agreed to move. Amazing farm lady my Grandma.
Let me add that the next October Surprise will come when the SF Police tell us that the cops do not activate their Body Cameras when doing a Welfare Check.
This is just my guess of the next suspicious report.

Or, was it actually one of Nanzis commemorative gavels that she likely has on display on her mantel?
I’ve tought about it. It does not seem reasonable to suggest two volatile men in an argument, perhaps to the point of grappling, would hear a door bell or knock, suspend their argument/grapple to open the door and then, seeing a policeman(s), woud turn away from that authority figure to return to struggling over a hammer.
No. The perp wielding the hammer likely had no idea the police were observing...and in fact, speaking to them as I’m sure they were. The same for Pelosi, he’s simply not going to ignore a policeman at his door, especially in light of the fact he supposedly called the police for assistance.
Someone else opened that door, as indicated by police statement and news report. But do stay tuned for evolving statements lol
