Oh, are you “better informed” than I? Sorry, I’ve only been reading history for over 40 years.
Try this one. “1775: A Good Year for Revolution”
https://www.amazon.com/1775-Good-Revolution-Kevin-Phillips/dp/0143123998
Or perhaps the Memoirs of Joseph Plumb Martin
https://www.amazon.com/Memoir-Revolutionary-Soldier-Narrative-Americana/dp/0486451461
Maybe “Washington’s Crossing”.

And considering I’ve been reading about this crap for over 40 years, there are books I’ve probably forgotten. But yeah, I’m sure you’re super-better read on this than I. I bow in the face of superior intellect and knowledge.
Then there’s the family history I read of my own family, Irish men who took a ship over in 1776 to enlist with the Continentals and drive the Royalist scum out of the Americas. Didn’t say anything about the Revolution itself, just the attitudes my direct ancestor had about his grandson who was the son of an Englishman. My ancestor had to care for the kid, as his father died. My ancestor was a monster to him. Called him “That damned Johnny Bull” his entire childhood. He was a thoroughly unpleasant man, whom I probably wouldn’t have liked much. But the attitude toward the English was pretty damned clear. The boy finally reached the age of majority and moved out of the county. Good for him.
