That is simply untrue. Don't swallow Russian propaganda without thinking. Thousands of Russian speaking Ukrainians are fighting in the Ukrainian Army and National Guard. Untold numbers of Russian speaking Ukrainians are celebrating the freeing of their cities and villages from the Russian occupiers.
Russian collaborators are in a bad place they put themselves into so they are fleeing. But that is no surprise. If you join up with an invading army and help man the torture and interrogation rooms in the new police station your neighbors usually aren't too happy about it.
You are correct, I am denying that the war is about denazification (Ukraine is no more a Nazi regime due to the presence of the Azov Battalion than is Russia due to the presence of its Wagner Group), biolabs (the US involvement was limited to cleaning up Soviet-era labs, not developing secret bio weapons targeting Russians), or NATO expansion (Ukraine was no where near getting accepted into NATO). As for the meaning of “de-satanization”, you’ll have to ask your Russian friends as that is the latest propaganda line from the Kremlin.
All of the above are simply rationalizations from Putin to justify his attempt to reunite the greater Russian nation.
I’ll go even further with Putin’s “denazification” rational. As Putin links Ukrainian nationalism with the Banderist support of the Nazis in WW2, his “denazification” pledge is really a code word for de-Ukrainization, i.e. the elimination of the idea of Ukrainian nationalism.

As the Russians have clearly stated repeatedly, that Americans, you for example, simply refuse to acknowledge Minsk II and their many warnings to stop shelling the territories, directly on their border, they are now taking by military force.
They’ve stopped listening to Americans and are prepared to settle the score militarily. They will enforce the terms of Minsk, and whatever else they want, and there is nothing troublemaking Americans can do about it but shoot off their mouths.
