The US has not cited national security concerns about hundreds of other high profile tech sites being gobbled up and moved overseas over the years. But this one was somehow different.

Perhaps this really is a national, uh, GOVERNMENT, security concern?

The government wants to disarm us after 245 yrs 'cuz they plan to do are doing things we would shoot them for!
