You are reading it wrong, the 911 operator is telling the LEO’s that the operator doesn’t know who the guy is, BUT Pelosi told the operator that his name is David and he was a friend!!
Except that’s not what it says.
But we’ll see.
There is no way at 230am Paul Pelosi was casually reporting that a guy with a hammer was in his house “waiting for my wife”.
I agree the story and the quote are confusing but it does say:
“Pelosi informed 911 that he did not know who the attacker was but gave his name and then explained that “he is a friend.”
So Pelosi could not have both said he doesn’t know the person, and that it’s a friend.
It appears he was saying he didn’t know the guy, but the guy is telling him these things.
That also makes a lot more sense at 230am with a broken window and a guy in the house who was then struggling to hit Pelosi with a hammer.
Not likely a friend.
