Paul Pelosi reportedly told 911 dispatch that the individual who allegedly attacked him with a hammer in his home “is a friend,” according to a police dispatch call early Friday morning.
The alleged intruder reportedly attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer, which forced him to undergo emergency surgery for his injuries.

The dispatch official then said that Pelosi informed 911 that he did not know who the attacker was but gave his name and then explained that “he is a friend.”

“RP [Reporting Person] stated that there’s a male in the home and that he’s going to wait for his wife. RP stated that he doesn’t know who the male is but he advised that his name is David, and that he is a friend,” the dispatch official said. “RP sounded somewhat confused.
Later in the day, the FBI visited a Berkeley home linked to DePape, which neighbors call the “hippie collective,” NBC Bay Area’s Jaxon Van Derbeken reported.
Interestingly, a photo of the outside of the house revealed several signs supporting left-leaning causes, which stands in contrast to attempts to link the attacker to “MAGA extremists.”
For example, an American flag with rainbow colors and marijuana leaves can be seen in front of the house. Looking closer, a handwritten “Black Lives Matter” sign can be seen hanging in one of the home’s windows.
Further, another sign posted in a different window reads, “Berkeley Stands United Against Hate,” which refers to a Berkeley-based organization that aims to “stop the hate and implicit biases that are a dangerous threat to the safety and civility of our neighborhoods, towns and cities.”

Paul Pelosi is on a downward alcoholic spiral. Out of control. The DUI and now getting caught with his naked “friend” who was trying to bash his head in.
You’d think that someone who operates at such a high level of Democrat Political Corruption for as many decades as the Pelosis could lie better even when they are drunk and caught naked with someone they shouldn’t be near.
Maybe he didn’t enter the house in just his underwear. Or Pauli picked him up on the street in his working clothes.
I agree the story and the quote are confusing but it does say:

So Pelosi could not have both said he doesn’t know the person, and that it’s a friend.
It appears he was saying he didn’t know the guy, but the guy is telling him these things.
That also makes a lot more sense at 230am with a broken window and a guy in the house who was then struggling to hit Pelosi with a hammer.
Not likely a friend.

It seems that under California law, breaking and entering is now subsumed into the first degree burglary charge. That requires entry with criminal intent but not a breaking into a structure as part of the crime. One can be prosecuted for first degree burglary by walking through an open door with criminal intent, no breaking required to be alleged even if a breaking took place.
Pelosi probably told Depape he couldn't come over because his wife was home...explains the 'where's Nancy' mantra as Depape hit him with a hammer.
I agree with most of you said...but I’d question about security around Paul Pelosi. He seemed to drive himself everywhere, without folks around him. I bet he has expensive security installed around the house. He simply invited this nutcase (while on drugs) to come over for a fun-hour.

I would think that Mr. DePape is in some real danger. Nancy Pelosi has been a powerful person throughout her life. Nancy has known how to get rid of people for a couple generations.
Leaving a “manifesto” is a critical tell. Many reports of FBI agents on the dark web coaxing their unbalanced patsies not only to do what they do, but to write and leave an incriminating “manifesto” that fits the chosen narrative.

Security is something you could have if you want. But if you don’t, then a hundred millionaire husband of the speaker would have to actively dismiss or turn off security. This guy who is a “friend” in his underwear named David must have had access given to him at some point.

Just a question (I’ve read two separate SF articles on this)....was ‘David’ in his actual underwear, or was he nude? And could he have been in Paul’s underwear? If he was a nude activist....seems like he would have been in the nude unless it was a bit too chilly in SF (in Oct).
My last concern is what happens to DePape.
2:30 am is when the bars start closing in some places. A lot of drunks on the loose at that time.
