A wellness check is what is given when you are concerned about your relative who you have not been able to contact in a few days..For this it would have been burglary in progress..and tell me what kind of attacker comes to attack someone IN THEIR UNDIES never heard of that one before.

There are all manner of security systems. Pelosi may not have had time to reach his phone, but had a button to push to alert authorities that something was up. At 82, it could easily have been a fall... or a motion detector by the broken glass set off a call ... or whatever.
