I for one have said that and if you talk to people who serve the elderly they will tell you that emotional and financial abuse are very common. The only difference here is scale, instead of trying to grab a SS check the wife is forcing the husband for much bigger financial gain.
All it would take is for one decent democrat with a conscience to stand up and say “Enough, this it is not worth humiliating a man just to win an office” and put an end to it.
Elderly people are often victims of sexual abuse, in nursing homes often by other elderly people.
For the poor souls that have dementia they're usually not aware of whats happening to them. And for those who are aware of what has happened to them they're often ashamed to admit it.
It's heart breaking.
Just landed at a great company in Dallas. The work I'm doing is so mentally challenging, I'm not worried about my brain going lazy.
I'll be nearly 70 next year, taking it day by day...let's see how I survive tax season after the New Year. I estimate our department will have over 200 partnership returns to prepare. I'm looking forward to the challenge.
