It amazes me how many Americans think they can go to foreign countries and not be subject to their laws.

I spent a lot of time in Mexico when I was a teenager. My best friend's family had a house in Ensenada, and my buddy and I had total freedom. We hitchhiked all over the place.

We pretty much avoided American tourists.

Were they dual citizens? I didn’t think non-Mexican citizens could own property in Mexico?
