Facebook is super uncool among the under 30 crowd. It is seen by them as a lame site that their parents hang out on and post cat pictures. Besides, no self-respecting kids are going to have a social media presence where their parents can see them.

The younger crowd have moved on to apps like Snapchat, TikTok and Instagram, among others.

I don't see how Facebook recovers from that long term. It has seen its peak and for now on, it will continue to shrink into irrelevance until there is nothing but old cranks talking about how great music was in the 1980s.

And another thing, advertising money is fleeing the Facebook platform due to the aging demographic there.

Advertisers are taking their money to where the kids are.
