I am not a fan of him but he is a good driver. Not great but competitive.
In his first full-time rookie year he finished 2nd by 0.206 seconds in the Daytona 500.
At the last one he was also 2nd by 1/2 car length.
The repeat outcome puts Wallace on a short list with Blaney (twice), Charlie Glotzbach (twice) and Terry Labonte (three times) as drivers with multiple runner-up finishes in the Daytona 500.
