Fetterman Blames the Closed Captioning System on His Disastrous Debate Performance, Debate Host Responds With Fire

Last night’s debate between John Fetterman and Mehmet Oz was something new for me as a political observer and commentator. Truly, I had never seen anything like it. It was so disastrous and so scandalous, that it might end up being the most consequential debate for a major candidate in modern history.

By the time the hour ended, an exceedingly short time for a debate, it was clear that the Fetterman campaign, Fetterman’s wife, and the mainstream media had been outright lying about just how bad the Democrat’s condition was. To say he could not speak coherently is putting things lightly, and unless you actually watch what transpired, you can’t possibly grasp how bad it was.

Here’s just a small taste.

Now, the Fetterman campaign is desperately searching for an excuse for what transpired, and as of late Tuesday evening, they settled on blaming the closed captioning system. Yes, despite the fact that Fetterman was given a 70-inch television screen to read questions and answers from even though he is not hard of hearing at all, the best his campaign could come up with was to blame that incredible concession for his woes.

That via The New York Post.

“We are thrilled with John’s performance. He did remarkably well tonight – especially when you consider that he’s still recovering from a stroke and was working off of delayed captions filled with errors,” Fetterman communications director Joe Calvello told reporters.

“John won countless exchanges, counter-punched aggressively, and pushed back on Oz’s cruelty and attacks,” Calvello said.

"Citizens aren’t electing a teleprompter to represent their interests. It’s happened 3 times - twice with Obama and once with Biden. (IF they actually won an election, all that represented “we the people” was the teleprompter)."

Maybe not a teleprompter, but certainly a rubber-stamp. Electing today's Democrat party candidates is like electing the Borg (from Star Trek fame). Once installed, they act as one. It doesn't matter who runs, they will vote lock-step with the national party.

Yep - they followed the format and enforced the time limits fairly.

Yup! Viva la revolution right?

The only people in today's commie revolutions are useless sons and daughters of 'elites' and the angry underclass losers.

Years ago I had a commie organizer friend who couldn't understand why he could never recruiter 'workers' to the ranks. He was tired of the usual students, loser kids of 'elites' and criminals and malcontents from the underclass.

It's that type of ceaselessness that's saved us from these monsters. The biggest change? Now they lie to recruits - they figure they're 'doing it all for the good of the workers' so it's OK for them to lie about what's going down.

A person who has to lie about their real motives is always a monster to the people being lied to... Yeah and I can come up with some one time exceptions too - but that's not what's being talked about here. Nice to see Bono is starting to 'get it'... there is hope.

I have to admit, I thought the moderators were fair.

I thought they were more than fair. There were some circumstances where you could tell they just let him stop talking because it was obvious he had no other programmed response.
