Makes me shiver to look at it. Wyoming has had a dusting of snow, too. I’ll bet my kids have mixed feelings. Love snow, but not month after month of it. And shoveling. LOL!
8 out of 10, mostly educated guesses.
Well, you ARE edumacated, so I say bravo for a great score!
It makes me shiver too. I’m not fond of winter weather at all.
But I have to say I like it when it snows at Lake Hood. It makes everything brighter at night on the cam, which has IR. On cloudy nights like tonight, we can see VERY well.
I’m glad it was clear last night. There was a little bit of aurora dancing. We don’t get to see that very often on the cam.
The kids went from one extreme to another with their move. From months of shoveling snow to months of sweltering.
Well, I AM sorry to have missed the aurora. That’s one of my few bucket list items...to see it in person. Yeah, I know. I’d have to go waaaaaay up north to do it. LOL!
I’m not crazy about deep winter, either. That’s why I never visited the kids in WY after the first part of October. It was chilly but not numbingly cold. I have no tolerance for that.
7 of 10.
Good job! You’re late! :D
You scored: 10 / 10
A perfect score! Nice job!
FunTrivia points scored: 150
I have to settle for watching the aurora online because I’ll never go far enough north to see them in person. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to watch on the Manitoba cam because it’s been cloudy up there. There was some pretty aurora dances over Finland the other night.
You went to WY at a good time. You could get outside to do things and go places and not sweat or freeze.
Gizmo is probably laughing at the results of the quiz.((LOL)) I only got 4 out of 10. A couple of things threw me off there.
Speaking of Gizmo he sure enjoyed himself at Chisolm Trail Park yesterday. Here are the pics.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Judging by Gizmo’s big smile, he had a great time yesterday. A beautiful day you had for your romp.
Howdy, EGC! Good score. It was kinda tricky all right. Glad you played though. Gizmo does look very happy to be at the lake.

LOL! Bravo on the perfect score and getting to keep your “Explorers Club membership card to Cracker Jack”. That WOULD have been tragic.
It was the perfect time. Not really still tourist season and yet not skiing season, so it wasn’t completely overrun by other tourists. Would have been more perfect had my son not left the windows open at night to get “fresh air” and it was in the 30s outside at night. LOL!
Lots of great memories though. Including going to Yellowstone National Park twice...another item on my bucket list. Score!
Off-season is the only time to go to the cool places that are tourist places. It’s hard to really enjoy it when it’s overrun with people. When I lived in Wilmington, NC, I never went to the beach during summer.
OMG! He cracked the windows open at night when it was THAT cold??? That’s crazy!!! That would make it almost impossible to get out of bed for a potty break. LOL
Though I have a sort-of bucket list, I’ll never get to check anything off. Top of the list is riding with Brandon or Brett doing some storm chasing. LOL
He sure did. And it WAS hard to get out from under the covers for anything. LOL! Then when the sun came up, it warmed up and was just perfect. I’ve never smelled air that clean. Ever.
I wish you could have that experience of chasing with them. You’d enjoy it so much. And wouldn’t screech like other women that ride along with the chasers. Geez, I always wish they’d left them behind. :)
Guess I’d better head out. See ya tomorrow. Hope the air stays cleaner. And that wind dies down soon. Even if it’s not gale force, the sound can get the nerves going. Or at least it does mine. Nite!
I’d be hard-pressed to get out from under the covers with it that cold. Those are conditions to utilize a puppy pad on the bed. ROTFL!!
The fresh air up there must have been invigorating.
I wouldn’t screech like a lot of the girlfriends some of the chasers take along. I’d probably squeal with excitement at the sight of a tornado though. LOL
We probably won’t hear the wind tomorrow. In this house, we only hear it if it’s blowing hard like it did today. It won’t blow that hard tomorrow. I’ll braid my hair when I head out to run a couple of errands so the wind doesn’t whip it around and beat my face with it. It’ll be blowing hard enough for that.
Sleep well. I’m getting ready to head off to bed too. Catch ya tomorrow.
Here's a real tough one ...
It was past my bedtime!
Great score! Hey, thanks for the link. I used that quiz last year [and yes, it WAS hard!]. I’m sure it’ll come back around again. LOL!
