That, folks, is why I sometimes question the validity of democracy. My Mom had opinions close to Rush Limbaugh. But with the exception of Ronald Reagan, she voted straight democrat her entire life. When Bob Dole was running, she voted for Clinton because “Bob Dole has mean eyebrows!” She believed Democrats were good caring people, even though she disagreed with them on almost every issue!
As conservative as my wife is, it also makes me wonder why we ever gave women the right to vote...
