Republicans expected to block legislation on family leave, abortion, policing and other Biden priorities while pushing new laws to curb immigration and spending, using the debt ceiling as leverage.

These will be my not-so-profound predictions assuming we take one or both houses:
•Democrats will will work overtime to pass as much of their wish list as possible during the lame-duck session. They may get help from lame-duck Republicans.

•Republicans will try to block Biden priorities for the next two years. The MS press will excoriate them for doing so.

•Any new laws that limit spending or attempt to strengthen the border will face Brandon vetos and will be seen by many as mere virtue signaling.

•Any threat of a government shutdown will be universally condemned by the MS press as ‘typical Republican irresponsibility.

•Any Congressional investigation of Biden, his spawn, or his administration will dismissed as petty politics and will be contrasted with the universally-praised ‘bipartisan January 6th committee.

I suspect your predictions will come true. But this one is to our advantage:

Any new laws that limit spending or attempt to strengthen the border will face Brandon vetos and will be seen by many as mere virtue signaling.

Biden will certainly veto any border security bill. If properly framed, the vast majority of voters will oppose Biden’s veto. And this helps the conservative cause two years from now during the next presidential election.
