I don’t know much about 3-D printing. Can you explain to me how a plastic gun can fire a bullet? All I can think of is the Clint Eastwood/John Malkovich movie where he makes a plastic gun. I wasn’t aware that a plastic barrel would contain the pressure from a fired round of ammunition. Do they print parts in plastic and then put a metal barrel in it? Just curious how this is done.
Some of them use available “non firearm” parts, some are using metal (people are figuring out how to rifle metal barrels with chemicals, and some are printing with extremely high end filaments
