Hmmm, I got fired by MIT for not getting the booster (s). This could be like getting a 1 year paid sabbatical.
You should ring up their HR dept and ask when you are expected to come back, and will you have the same desk/office as you left. Tell them you will expect to hear back from them by Nov. 1st. Let us know how it goes. :)
