For a month, it appears the sailors aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln were drinking water contaminated with bilge water--liquid consisting of sink, shower and sewage drainage. This is a fail for the Navy and designers of the USS Abraham Lincoln. It appears the Navy was confused about the source of the contaminated water. The story reports "The Navy said at the time that the presence of E. coli bacteria was actually unrelated to reports of an "odor and cloudiness," which the service said disappeared on September 22." Yeah, right,

It’s only natural that sailors confused about their gender and pronouns would also be confused about which places to pee/poop.

I read somewhere that the latest class of carriers have a plumbing design flaw that cannot be fixed and is going into the future carriers as well.

A helicopter pilot whose awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy/Marine Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and various unit, campaign, and service medals.

Capt. Amy is no doubt in close consultation with her Engineering Officer. I don't envy them. A design flaw would, it seems, have been encountered in this class of ship long before this.
