This is all of a piece with the payoffs going to Hilary Clinton via the Clinton foundation, which was heavy on the Russian oligarchs. For some reason that whole set of stories has been deemphasized. Hmmm.
Its the US MSM that stressed the “Ukraine” part of that connection, during the 2018-2019 Trump impeachment farce, in order to reduce the stigma of what H.Biden had been up to. But the charges Trump wanted to bring vs the Democrats were about specifically Russian payoffs, via their Ukrainian puppets.
Most of the discussion on these matters I see here is sloganeering without thought or perspective, which has always grated with me. I am an engineer (retired) whose career was in implementing complex systems. Details are critical. They determine the nature of the problem.
