Thanks for the promotion, but Captain is as far as I got. I had a couple of short stints as a Battery XO, but I was kicked up to Battalion HQ, shortly after our ARTEP (tac eval).
I knew I was never going to make it to Major, so I resigned my commission after 18 months as a Battery Commander...it was time.
