Exactly, as an ex 82nd Airborne trooper I am disgusted by senile Joe’s poking the bear. As well trained as the 82nd and 101st is, a brigade of us ( the standard rapid deployment brigade force) would not have a chance. If a combat parachute assault would be attempted, we are only combat effective only for 3 days without rapid, constant re-supply. All show.

The 101st can’t do parachute assaults.

No paradrop is anticipated. What is air land operations backed up with drone and air strikes of the ‘shock and awe’ type. The question is after that then what?This what is known as escalation.
